Bullet for Bullet is the right policy?

You hit me, I hit you harder!! It's said, what you sow, so shall you reap, i.e. you'll only get what you work for. But is it correct? If you do something by accident, does it still accounts for punishment? A wise man once said, "If we went on an eye for an eye, the whole world will be half blind." Bullet for bullet is never the right tact....but forgiveness is. If you can have it in your heart to forgive someone then only, you can move on, else the regret or the guilt will eventually catch up with you one day. It is said that the one who goes out on taking revenge, should always dig two graves...one for the enemy and one for self. So, it's up to you, whether you want a free mind or a pit of death? I'll end with a joke which I read a few days back: If in a room there was Osama Bin Laden, Hitler and you and I had only two bullets.....I'll shoot you twice. ;) But remember...if you are on the kill.....never leave a witness ali...
